While wood fillers can be used to fill large chips, gouges, or dents in your door or frame, they don’t really stand up well enough to the regular use and various hazards that a door is subjected to. So what is a better alternative to fill in those large chips?
Ron Hazelton, a well-known home improvement expert, advises using polyester resin, which has proven to be a better alternative to wood fillers when it comes to this kind of repair.
