I was awed when I came across this post. It’s amazing how you can make do with what you have at home, such as kitchen ingredients and other home supplies, to create something that temporarily replaces DIY project necessities.
Would you believe that you can make an alternate for paint thinner with lemon oil and linseed oil? How about using sawdust from old or damaged furniture mixed with glue to make wood filler? Or using an old electric toothbrush with the bristles removed and replaced with self-sticking sand paper as a mini sander? Ingenious, right? Check out the slideshow on Toolbox Hacks for Your Next DIY Project to learn more of these smart ideas.
